Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of MKCCC, enriching the lives of our children and providing invaluable support for our staff.  MKCCC hosts a vibrant and active volunteer initiative.

Teens and Young Adults:

The MKCCC teen and young adult volunteer initiative is managed and coordinated by our social worker Ruth Goodman and Jennifer Bancroft. Student volunteers have an opportunity to work with all age groups. Teen and young adult volunteers are asked to make an initial commitment of 6 consecutive weeks on a set day and time.

  • Committees – we have over 10 committees covering a range of activities including events, fundraising, marketing, operations, finance and more.
  • Board of Directors
  • Corporate and group volunteers
  • Advocacy
  • Volunteer at the center – we have the occasional need for volunteers to help with administrative tasks.
