About MKCCC
Mount Kisco Child Care Center is a nonprofit child care facility, providing equitable access to high quality child care and early education to local families regardless of their ability to pay. For more than 50 years, the MKCCC Scholarship Fund has allowed MKCCC to fulfill its mission by providing scholarships to low-income families who would not otherwise be able to afford the high cost of care. Access to quality, reliable child care and early education has been proven to dramatically change the course of a child’s life and can be the key to helping a family break the cycle of poverty.
However, our work doesn’t end at the Center. Not only do we work to bring care to the hardworking families of Westchester county, MKCCC also advocates on the local, county, and state level for legislature that would make child care accessible for all and help alleviate the burden on working families. Child care is an essential industry and MKCCC stands at the forefront bringing visibility to the needs and challenges child care faces.
