Helping Your Little One Learn & Grow

Warm & Responsive Care

In our infant rooms, we create a warm, nurturing environment that acts as an extension of our infants’ homes. Infants are provided with daily opportunities that encourage social and emotional development, speech and language, cognitive growth, and fine and gross motor development through group and independent activities.

Highlights of MKCCC’s Infant Program

  • Loving and caring environments that are an extension of home.
  • We communicate with families regularly to maintain partnerships and to build trusting relationships.
  • MKCCC exceeds mandated teacher/child ratios to ensure focused, caring attention is provided to all infants.
  • Daily opportunities are provided to encourage social/emotional development, speech and language, cognitive growth and to support fine and gross motor development.
  • MKCCC has a dedicated outdoor play space for infants.
  • Some of the infants favorite activities include:
    • Gross motor room: large balls, boat toy, ride-along toys & push toys, mats, running and jumping
    • Outdoor/Playground & water play
    • Tunnel and ball “pit” play
    • Climber/Ramp play

“I have had my children attend MKCCC for the past 4 years and been through the infant, toddler, pre-K, and school-age programs. The teachers and programming are top-notch. It’s an amazing community and I couldn’t imagine sending them anywhere else!”

JANE M., MKCCC Parent

“Eight plus years ago my family and I moved from the city to Mount Kisco and we were in search of a daycare facility we can send our son to. MKCCC wasn’t the first place we visited but it was the last. It became clear to us how special the teachers, staff, and volunteers are. We don’t regret the decision to send our son and now our daughter here. You won’t either.”

TESTIMONIALS

What people are saying

STEPHANIE & JORDAN, MKCCC Parents

“Our son started in Toddler A in November after just moving to the area. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at MKCCC. The teachers are phenomenal, so loving and nurturing. We’ve watched our son blossom over the past 8 months. He’s learned so much – socially and developmentally.”

VANESSA KARDOS, Toddler Program

Supervisor/Toddler A Head Teacher

“I’ve been a toddler teacher here at MKCCC for 16 years. These have been the most rewarding years of my life. Building the foundation for children to develop upon and blossom into little explorers ready to take on the world is the most wonderful phenomenon to watch. Many of the children who were among the first classes I had, are now returning as volunteers. It’s amazing to see these kids as well-rounded adolescents who give their time to spend with us. I love working here at MKCCC and most of all love that I spend my days giving and receiving such love.”
