Insurance Employees Lend a Helping Hand to Mount Kisco Child Care Center

Mount Kisco, NY – (October 18, 2012) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) was the grateful beneficiary of the time and hard work donated by more than 35 local volunteers, all employees of Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., a global specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance. The Endurance employees pitched in by caring for the grounds, painting, and working in the classroom with The Center’s children.

“We are so grateful for the time and energy these individual donated,” said MKCCC Executive Director, Dottie Jordan. “They assisted us with tasks we often have to put on the back burner as our focus and priority is, of course, caring for the children.”

Endurance dedicated its time as part of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Week of Giving. The eight-day, industry-wide volunteer event encourages teams of insurance industry professionals to provide service at neighborhood and community not-for-profit organizations.

“Our community relies on local not-for-profits like the Mount Kisco Child Care Center to provide high quality services,” said MKCCC Board President and Endurance employee, David Griff. “It is important to show our appreciation for the time and energy they dedicate every day. Endurance is proud to lend our support to an organization like MKCCC, which provides exceptional child care to a diverse group of children in a safe, nurturing environment.”

Mount Kisco Child Care will also receive assistance from local IBM employees on October 26.
