Mount Kisco Child Care Center Announces 2018 Board Leadership and New Board Members

Mt. Kisco, NY – (June 27, 2018) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) announces the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors as well as the election of a new President and Vice President for 2018. The board now comprises 18 members in total.

Effective April 21, 2018, Peter Schwarz was named President of the Board of Directors and Elizabeth Marwell will serve as the Board’s Vice President. Mr. Schwarz, Principal of Integral Derivatives, joined the board in 2013, and previously served as Treasurer. Ms. Marwell, an Art Collections Manager, joined the board in 2014 and continues to act as the Chair of the Development Committee. Jim Moore and Marty Brodbeck both joined the board in 2018.

Jim Moore recently retired from a career in Commercial Banking, specializing in financing family-held businesses. He is a former Trustee of the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Kisco and remains an active member. Jim is a long-time Mt. Kisco resident with a history of coaching middle-school boys in basketball (CYO Program) and younger boys in the Mt. Kisco Little League. Jim worked as a middle-school teacher after college before switching careers. That experience convinced him of the need for preschool and after-school support programs for children who come from challenging environments. Jim will serve on the financial committee at MKCCC. Jim is married to Tanis and they have two sons who attended public schools in Mt. Kisco and currently work in Washington, D.C. and Brooklyn, NY.

Martin (Marty) Brodbeck is Chief Technology Officer for Shutterstock. Marty manages the technology organization, to drive development and implementation of products that solve customers’ problems. Marty has over 20 years experience delivering solutions at scale during his tenure as CTO at Pearson, Pfizer and Diageo. Martin holds a BA from the University of Richmond and an MS from the Stevens Institute of Technology. He currently resides in Armonk with his wife Blakely and two children, Connor and Charlotte.
