Mount Kisco Child Care Center Announces David M. Griff to Serve as New Board President

Mount Kisco, NY – (April, 19 2012) – david-griffMount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) announces that David M. Griff has been elected to serve as President of the Board of Directors effective April 11, 2012. Mr. Griff has been a member of MKCCC’s Board of Directors since April 2010.

Mr. Griff is a Vice President and Associate General Counsel with Endurance Specialty Holdings, Ltd., a global specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance. Previously, Mr. Griff was Vice President, Corporate and Regulatory Counsel at Financial Guaranty Insurance Company from 2002 to 2005. He was an associate at Edwards & Angell, LLP from 1997 to 2002. Mr. Griff currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bet Torah in Mt. Kisco. Mr. Griff coaches soccer in Bedford and is actively involved at his children’s school, West Patent Elementary School.

Mr. Griff commented, “I am honored to follow Linda Mahon and Steven Wysmuller as President of the Board. Both my sons attended MKCCC from infancy through their toddler years. With Feed Me Fresh, the organic garden and greenhouse, JEWEL intergenerational program, outdoor play space, and age appropriate learning, the Center’s programs are unparalleled. The Center’s dedicated and professional staff nurture and educate the children in our community so that they are ready to excel in school.”

Mr. Griff is a graduate of Colgate University and Tulane University Law School. He currently resides in Bedford with his wife Jennifer and their sons, Harry and Sam.
