Mount Kisco, NY – (June 8, 2012) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) has raised more than $50,000 during its Spring Challenge. Families, friends, and members of the community were invited to contribute to the Center from May 1 through May 31.
All monetary contributions received by the Center during the challenge, were matched by MKCCC Board Member, Founder of the Saw Mill Club, and Co-Founder of Curtis Instruments, Dr. Curtis Beusman. During the final days of the challenge, more than $25,000 was raised by the community, allowing the Center to surpass its goal of $50,000.
Funds raised through the challenge will be allocated toward the Center’s Scholarship Initiative. Well known in the community for its quality childcare, MKCCC provides tuition assistance to children in need would not otherwise be able to enroll. Children are able to participate in the Center’s award-winning, innovative programming, while allowing parents to find employment and feel confident their children are cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.

These contributions allow us to open our doors to more children in Westchester.”
