Mount Kisco Child Care Center Welcomes Keri Reitman as Development Director

Fundraising professional with 20 years experience joins MKCCC Team

Mt. Kisco, NY – (April 29, 2011) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center inc. (MKCCC) welcomed Keri Reitman as their new Development Director on March 21, 2011. The Development Director works in close partnership with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors at MKCCC to develop and implement long-term fundraising strategies. Keri will work to strengthen and grow individual giving, corporate/foundation relations, planned giving and special events at the Center, and will personally manage relationships with the Center’s top donors and prospects.

During Keri’s 20-year career, she has been progressively responsible for cultivating a positive culture of philanthropy, primarily in the manner of Special Events, and raised several million dollars while doing so. Prior to joining the staff at MKCCC, Keri served as a development & special events professional in Manhattan for such nonprofit organizations as Thirteen/WNET, Cornell University, Big Apple Circus, New York Philharmonic, New-York Historical Society, Alliance for Lupus Research and the New York Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Most recently, she consulted for the Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Pace Law School in White Plains. Additionally, Keri has worked at Tentation Special Events Catering in Manhattan, planning events for high-end retailers, private clients, non-profit organizations, international corporations, movie studios and magazines. She also spent three Thanksgivings managing on-site logistics and celebrities at the annual Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Keri earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She is affiliated with the Association of Development Professionals (ADO) in Westchester and the Council of Protocol Executives in Manhattan. A native of Staten Island, NY, Keri resides in Bronxville, NY with her husband, Brian Schnapper.
